位於葡萄牙運河城市阿維羅的一隅，此屋佇立於一塊狹小的地塊，外觀簡潔卻充滿張力。此案在平衡開放性與私密性間取得平衡，並順應 3 公尺的自然坡度，使建築與環境相互融合。四周圍繞著既有建築立面，設計師在空間條件受限的情況下，以創新的佈局方式形塑兩層主要樓層與一座閣樓，巧妙回應機能與美學的挑戰。

Bed on top of a small plot in the characteristic Canal City of Aveiro, Casa Forca-Vouga is a striking architectural project that balances openness and privacy while harmonizing with its sloping site. Situated on a 3-meter slope and surrounded by built-up fronts of houses, this residence creatively organizes two main floors and an attic, embracing functional and aesthetic challenges.

如同懸浮於基地之上，整體呈現輕盈漂浮的視覺意象，並透過架高設計帶來強烈的建築語彙，同時解決地勢上的功能需求，善加利用所處地形。上層量體以白色單體的形式呈現，成為鮮明的視覺符碼。潔白的立方體經過精心鏤刻，露出內部溫潤的木質肌理，展現層次分明的材質對話。下方場域妥善整合為機能區，包含車庫、洗衣間及儲藏空間，順應地勢嵌入坡地，不僅提供結構支撐，亦強化了實用性，使上層空間得以展現通透的輕盈感，亦提供更多車輛迴轉空間。

The house is an exploration of contrasts—between solidity and lightness, natural integration and contemporary design. The upper volume, conceived as a white monolith, anchors the visual identity of the house. This immaculate white block features carefully designed excavations that reveal a warm wooden interior, offering a subtle interplay of materials and textures. Below, a service floor, containing garages, laundry and storage, fits into the topography while providing structural support and practical utility. The architectural design suggests a sense of floating above the site, as if the house were gently hovering above its surroundings. This deliberate elevation not only makes a bold visual statement, but also addresses the functional demands of the site. By embracing the natural slope and integrating a lower level, its design optimises the use of the land, creating additional maneuvring space for vehicles whilst maintaining a light and airy appearance above.

建築立面設計與周圍環境形成對話，展現出現代建築的純粹語彙，更尊重既有的都市肌理。西側的寬敞露臺拓展公共空間，使室內外無縫銜接。陽光灑落，遠方景緻一覽無遺，露臺因而成為家人共享與社交聚會的理想場域。

The house interacts dynamically with its environment, organizing transitions between the topography and the surrounding street. The façade establishes a clean, modern presence while ensuring that the design remains sensitive to the existing built context. To the west, a spacious terrace extends the communal areas, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior. This terrace invites sunlight and offers panoramic views, making it a perfect setting for relaxation or social gatherings.

內部空間強調流動性與效率，採開放式設計，使各機能區域自然連結，並減少不必要的走道空間，提升整體使用效能。每個空間皆經過縝密規劃，確保居住者的舒適與便利。本案中，設計師憑藉純粹的形式語彙，達到精準的場域回應，成為當代住宅設計的精彩範例，繼而在都市肌理與現代生活之間，譜寫建築與環境共生的詩篇。

The internal layout emphasizes spatial fluidity and efficiency. The ground floor is dedicated to communal spaces, with an open-plan design that blurs the boundaries between the different areas. Circulation is minimized, improving the usability and flow of the house. Each space is thoughtfully designed, ensuring comfort and practicality for its residents. The lower level becomes a vital aspect of the project, carved out of the natural topography to house utility areas and create additional parking space. This excavation allows the upper levels to feel lighter and more expansive, emphasizing the architectural theme of a “floating” volume. The interplay of the basement and the upper monolith underscores the careful approach to maximizing functionality while maintaining aesthetic appeal. Located at Rua da Guiné-Bissau, the home embraces its contemporary style, blending innovation with respect for its surroundings.
