本案座落於維爾紐斯一處歷史街區之中，由兩棟當代獨棟住宅構成。設計構想圍繞一個著核心概念，即是如何在以低密度獨棟住宅為主的既有城市社區中，安置新的建築量體，使其在尺度與氣質上皆能自然融入周邊環境。

Twin House is a pair of contemporary single-family residences located in one of Vilnius historic districts. The main architectural challenge was to integrate the new volumes sensitively into the existing urban fabric, characterized by low-rise, detached housing.

在回應周邊低密度住宅尺度的前提下，量體以當代語彙重新詮釋傳統住宅形式。首先，使量體能夠順應基地自然坡勢嵌入地形之中，使建築在機能配置與視覺感受之間取得平衡。施工過程中，基地內既有的成熟松樹被完整保留，讓建築得以在自然脈絡中展開，並與場地形成持續的對話關係。材質運用上，建築結合天然石材與全景玻璃，並輔以帶有光澤的複合板材與簡潔的白色語彙，使整體量體呈現低調而克制的當代建築表情。

The building composition reinterprets traditional architectural forms through a contemporary lens. The new structures are organically embedded into the natural terrain, resulting in a functional and visually balanced architectural expression. Existing mature pine trees were carefully preserved throughout the construction process, reinforcing the project's dialogue with its natural context.

The spatial layout is organized across three levels. The street level accommodates parking and the main entrances. Private bedroom areas are situated on the intermediate level, while the upper level is dedicated to the living spaces, including the living room and dining area. These upper-floor living areas open directly onto the elevated terrain, forming cozy green courtyard with patios that enhance privacy and outdoor living.

空間配置沿垂直方向分為三個層次：底層設置停車空間與主要入口；第二樓層為臥室等私密領域；最上層則規劃為起居與餐敘等公共生活空間。此一配置使公領域被抬升至視野最開闊的位置，並得以直接銜接經抬升後的地形，圍塑出被綠意包覆的庭院與露台，在確保私密性的同時，也延伸了戶外生活的使用可能。大面積玻璃開口進一步強化室內與室外之間的連續關係，讓視線與自然景觀得以自由流動。

Large-format glazing establishes a strong visual and physical connection between interior and exterior spaces. The material palette combines natural stone with panoramic glass surfaces, while glossy composite panels complement the architecture with minimalist white accents, emphasizing the project's contemporary character.
