本案位於西班牙阿斯圖里亞斯當地山谷的最高點，佇立於山脈的壯麗脊線之上，而此處亦是當地自然景觀的重要入口。

At the highest point of the Saliencia Valley, in Somiedo, Asturias, lies the Alto de la Farrapona, a gateway to one of the most geologically significant areas in the Cantabrian Mountains.

當地市政府發起永續觀光計畫，期望在於法拉波納附近打造一座地質觀景台。設計團隊以「觀看是有意識的行為」的概念呈現量體，視框架為一種對現實的詮釋，以創造視角為理念，使原本容易被忽略的地貌風景能被注目。遊客由緞帶般的動線引導進入眺望台，並在最後抵達與起點相隔僅數公尺的出口，簡短的行走過程中，蔥鬱山谷的壯麗景色以完整的360度視角在眼前綻放。

Through its Sustainable Tourism Plan, the Somiedo Town Hall launched a public call for proposals to create a geological viewpoint near La Farrapona. The concept behind the viewpoint is rooted in the idea that human vision is intentional. A frame is an interpretation of reality that highlights the landscape and brings attention to what might otherwise go unnoticed. With a ribbon-like motion, visitors access the viewpoint, walk through it, enjoy a 360-degree panorama, and return to the path just a few meters from where they began. Along this brief journey, they experience the Saliencia Valley in all its splendor. Informational displays identify nine points of geological interest visible from the viewpoint, offering educational insights that foster appreciation and understanding.

此外，設計師亦充分考慮無障礙需求，確保行動不便者也能輕鬆使用；平台整體與出入口高度一致。而讓此觀景台最終獲政府所選的，即是特殊的緞帶結設計，由耐候鋼打造的結構更備受嘉許，因其在景觀融合與視覺衝擊力之間取得了絕妙平衡。設計團隊不僅延伸了既有步道，提供完整的環景視野，更巧妙融入具教育與導覽功能的資訊展示；採用的低維護、耐久性的結構更是對於現代永續需求的回應。

The project was designed with accessibility in mind, ensuring usability for individuals with physical impairments. To support this, the viewpoint is situated on a platform that maintains the same elevation at both entry and exit points. The winning design, a weathering steel "bow," was praised by the jury for its "brilliant combination of landscape integration and visual impact. It extends the existing trail and offers a full 360-degree view of the surroundings, while cleverly incorporating educational and touristic materials in a durable, low-maintenance structure."
