本案為Bodegas Faustino酒莊的擴建與翻新工程，以「永續性」為核心理念，展現建築與自然的和諧共生。位於西班牙重要葡萄酒產區的中心，該酒莊見證了業主家族酒品事業的起點，團隊透過重塑建築風格，強化其與周圍葡萄園的連結，打造沉浸式參訪體驗。

The Legend of Bodegas Faustino is a new extension to the Bodegas Faustino Winery in Oyón, Rioja Alavesa. Foster + Partners designed a major extension and refurbished the existing facilities at the winery. Sustainability is integral to the project with a new visitor centre that has been designed as a 'Planet 1.0' building. The design reinterprets the winery as a whole and creates a stronger connection between the existing cellars and the surrounding vineyard.

主入口移至北側，旨在利用葡萄園打造來訪的第一印象，引導出一場融合葡萄酒、自然與文化的獨特旅程。新建的遊客中心為整體核心，採無柱拱形結構打造寬敞靈活的空間，靈感源於酒廠的工業遺產，以輕質木拱進行現代詮釋。建築選用大地色調融入周圍景觀，不對稱的中心與夾層結構則巧妙區分上下層空間，既作為遊客中心，亦可遠眺美麗的葡萄園美景。

The main entrance has been relocated to the north of the site to create a new visitor experience making the vineyard the first thing visitors encounter on their tour – a series of unique experiences in which wine, vineyard, nature, architecture, culture and sustainability blend together. A gentle path leads to the new visitor centre, the main protagonist of the project. It is designed as a vaulted and column-free hall to create a spacious and flexible volume.

此遊客中心獲得「Planet 1.0」建築認證，展現卓越的永續表現。屋頂的光伏電池板產能超過需求，多餘能源可供應釀酒廠使用；大面積簷篷有效降低熱輻射，並模糊內外邊界。中央天窗與玻璃外牆引入自然光，減少人工照明需求。

The new visitor centre, designated 'Planet 1.0', emits carbon absorbed by Earth's green cover, making it a truly sustainable exemplar. Its Energy Plus strategy, driven by rooftop photovoltaic panels, produces surplus energy diverted to existing winery buildings. Large overhangs on all sides reduce solar heat gain, blurring boundaries between inside and outside. A central skylight and integrated glazed facades provide ample daylight, minimizing artificial lighting. Natural materials create a biophilic environment, enhancing wellbeing for visitors and employees.

全案藉由天然建材營造良好生態環境，促進員工與訪客的身心健康，同時以景觀設計反映當地物種多樣性，地形變化亦能保護酒莊免受暴雨侵害。本項目將永續性從建築延伸至自然，為傳統酒莊注入現代價值。

The landscape introduces local species to boost biodiversity, while subtle topographic modifications shield the winery from increasingly frequent heavy rainfall. Overall, this approach exemplifies responsible innovation, forging a harmonious relationship among architecture, nature, and people, while ensuring a resilient future for the region.
