日本沖繩 名護之家
沖繩，這座被蔥鬱自然環抱的島嶼，擁有廣袤的甘蔗田，樹蔭交錯、小徑蜿蜒，一座座傳統紅瓦屋聚落靜靜佇立其中，本案即坐落於此懷舊而悠然之地。考量沖繩的氣候條件，夏日時驕陽熾烈，颱風頻繁來襲，設計上必須適應自然條件，團隊以現代語彙重新詮釋當地傳統建築，在通風規劃和屋簷設計上加以著墨，打造出契合沖繩特有氣候的舒適居所。
Surrounded by lush nature, the island is a landscape of sprawling sugarcane fields, Fukugi tree-lined paths, and clusters of tiled-roof villages. Its nostalgic scenery evokes the traditional charm of Okinawa. Okinawa's subtropical climate—the only one of its kind in Japan—brings both intense summer sunlight and frequent typhoons, demanding architectural solutions that harmonize with these natural forces rather than resist them.
This project reinterprets traditional Ryukyu architecture, embracing elements that have long defined the region's way of living. Ventilation plays a crucial role, ensuring that air moves freely through the structure, while deep eaves—known as Amahaji—offer respite from the relentless sun. Beyond practical function, these architectural features shape the atmosphere of the home, creating a space that is both protective and open, fostering a connection between the built environment and the rhythms of nature.
為避免海水沖刷，建築因而採用架高結構，由四根堅實的L形支柱支撐。空間層次隨樓層而變化，進而產生不同的敘事手法：最上層是起居空間和餐廚區，向海面微微傾斜，讓視線無阻地流向湛藍的水面，彷彿與海潮共息，感受自然的律動。
Located in a high tide inundation zone with a two-meter flood risk, the building is elevated on four sturdy L-shaped pillars, ensuring resilience against rising waters. Its design unfolds in layers, each floor contributing to a distinct spatial experience. The top level houses the living, dining, and kitchen areas, gently sloping toward the sea, drawing the gaze outward and immersing residents in the ebb and flow of the waves.
移步下層，來到臥室，大面開窗引入陽光與微風，並搭配深簷形成遮蔽，讓人得以享受自然，亦免於風雨干擾。
Below, the second floor contains bedrooms with expansive openings that welcome light and air while remaining sheltered beneath the deep eaves, striking a delicate balance between openness and a sense of security.
最底層則是完全開放的對外空間，架高的設計造就共享的廚房與餐飲場域，呼應琉球文化中「無門入口」的生活哲學，鄰里可在此聚會，描摹生動開放且具凝聚力的生活場景。此項目源自對沖繩建築傳統的當代回應，揉合歷史與現代、韌性與溫度，在距離與親近之間取得微妙的平衡，締造獨特又和諧的居住體驗。
On the ground level, a fully open piloti space redefines the entire site as a communal kitchen and dining area. This fluid transition between private and shared spaces echoes the Ryukyu tradition of houses without entrance doors, where neighbors naturally gather under the generous embrace of the Amahaji. This structure is a contemporary reflection on Okinawa's architectural heritage. By blending tradition with resilience, it creates a living experience that is at once timeless and adaptive, shaped by both history and the ever-changing environment.

ずっと考え続けてきた。
内と外が混ざりあった場所。
未完成という完成。
あることとないことの関係性。
これまでの概念にない場を作る、
矛盾した状況を成立させるようなことを。
ただ星は、
そのひとつひとつに意味や機能はなくても、
結びつくことで「星座」という、
新たな意味を生む。
木は一本一本、それぞれ違う形だけれど、
まとまることで「自然」という、
美しい風景を成す。
みんなが知らない、気づいていない、
思いもしなかったことを、
バラバラで混沌とした何かを、
ともに結びつけ、時に発明することで、
不意に訪れる新しい世界。
数多のプロジェクトと出会い、
愚直に解決していくうち、
そのすべてが、社会の問題提議へと
つながっていくことに気づいた。
価値を変える。価値を生む。
それを、ずっと考え続けている。
