泰國曼谷　感官之家

本案位於曼谷郊區，是一棟以「五官體驗」為設計理念的住宅。團隊期望房子不僅是遮蔽與居住的容器，而是成為一段感官之旅，重新定義房子的功能。屋主長年投身醫療工作、生活緊湊。家人為其購下此地，打造一處遠離喧囂、能讓身心喘息的悠然居所。設計順應傾斜地勢，創造延展的綠意空間，蜿蜒步道穿行於樹影與石材之間；雨天時，雨滴敲打葉片與石材的聲音化作天然溪流，感官旅程由此展開。

In the outskirts of Bangkok, stands a house that began with the question: How can a home be an experience? Not as a shelter or form, but as a sensory journey that engages sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste, creating a place not to be lived in, but deeply felt. The project began as a personal retreat for a medical specialist seeking calm in the city. By acquiring the adjacent plot, he imagined a home where time slows. From that, AAD design developed a landscape-led retreat that prioritizes experience over form.

入口隱於景觀之中，來者能透過由下而上的視角轉換，感受建築的層次與高度。夯土牆體兼具花槽與休憩功能，呼應「由自然而生、回歸自然」的精神。起居空間抬升至二樓，視野延伸至泳池與樹梢；一樓空間如泰式高腳屋般通風靜謐，構成仰視、平視、俯視三重空間感知層次。光線作為本案靈魂，從車棚步入室內，光的亮度遞減，情緒隨之沉靜，形成從外到內的過渡。深色調材質吸收光線與聲音，營造清涼而安定氛圍；落地玻璃引入樹影與陽光，讓日常風景流轉成為動態畫作。屋頂採斜面設計，避免遮擋鄰里天空視野；花園邊界延伸至圍牆之外，使部分綠意向街道開放。屋頂花園、水景泳池與周圍綠植柔化量體厚重感，為環境注入生態活力。

The house unfolds as a narrative. A gradually ascending curved path leads visitors inward, transitioning them from urban chaos to a quieter realm. Every element—terrain, planting, light, airflow, water sound, shadow—shapes this journey. The sloped landscape increases planting area, while rammed earth walls serve as both planters and informal seating, encouraging tactile engagement. Rain choreographs shifting acoustics and textures along the path. The path also functions as a discreet water channel, recalling a natural stream. Its hidden entrance invites instinctive navigation and a worm's-eye perspective that amplifies scale despite the one-bedroom program. Materials act as sensory instruments. Light and shadow define vision; water and wind shape sound; textures convey temperature and moisture; earthy scents and edible herbs infuse smell and taste. Living spaces are elevated to the second floor, with views framed by treetops and the pool. Below, a shaded ground level echoes the openness of traditional Thai homes. Together, these layers create three perceptual viewpoints—worm's eye, eye level, and bird's eye—giving the compact house surprising spatial depth.

此案不僅為屋主打造一處兼具隱私與療癒的居所，同時讓住宅與社區、建築與自然之間擁有開放的互動，強調新穎的城市思維——不是單純與自然共存，而是以更積極的方式將自然引入生活，並向外延伸，與周遭共享。本案不只是建築物，而是供人感受、傾聽和分享的生活場所；是棲身之所，亦是與萬物共生的感官之旅。

Light is treated with theatrical care. From carport to interior, illumination shifts gradually, heightening anticipation. Indoors, deep shadows and indirect lighting create a cooler, quieter mood. Dark finishes absorb heat and sound, offering respite from Bangkok's climate, while full-height glazing captures the changing landscape like living artwork. The roof preserves neighbors' sky views, and the garden opens to the street to share greenery, while borrowed views and vertical plantings restore it to the ecosystem.

MIRIN House offers more than privacy. It builds relationships—between home and community, architecture and nature, individual and city. It encourages a mindset where nature is not just present, but shared. Ultimately, the house becomes less an object and more a living bond, a continuous dialogue with everything around it.
