墨西哥瓜達盧佩谷 閑居
案件量體從中央一分為二，其間規劃戶外休憩區，保留庭園及用餐空間，讓生活能順暢地融入自然。全案位於墨西哥首屈一指的葡萄酒產區瓜達盧佩谷（Valle de Guadalupe）中心地帶，厚實的鋼構材質營造出庇護效果，大面積玻璃元素消解了室內外的界線，讓起居空間與戶外環境成為融合一氣，創造出日日變化的居住體驗。
Serenta Cabin was conceived as an exploration of architecture's ability to cultivate a profound relationship between people and place. Located in the heart of Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico's premier wine region, the project emerged from a simple question: How can architecture enhance the experience of nature without competing with it? Rather than becoming an object in the landscape, the cabin was envisioned as a quiet framework through which the surrounding environment could be experienced.
設計師從「建築如何提升人們對自然的體驗，同時避免與之競爭？」出發，施作時立基於「節制」之上，盡可能去除多餘元素，藉由緊湊的建築配置、精心安排的取景開口，凸顯光線、材質、比例、景觀等核心要素。此外，案件盡可能選用自然材料，著重建材具耐久性、質感真實，以及能呈現隨時間自然老化的痕跡的特質，選用沉穩的黑、白、木材質為主題，使案件在環境中退居配角地位，成為寧靜的框架，彰顯谷地周遭色彩、紋理與變動的氛圍，而自然環境躍升為體驗空間的主題：日光變換、季節更迭、葡萄園的遼闊等， 記憶將和建材一般歷久彌新。
The concept is rooted in restraint. Every design decision—from the building's compact footprint to its carefully framed openings—was guided by the desire to eliminate the unnecessary and emphasize what is essential: light, material, proportion, and landscape. The architecture seeks to slow the pace of everyday life, encouraging occupants to reconnect with nature through moments of stillness, changing daylight, seasonal transformations, and uninterrupted views across the vineyards. The building establishes a dialogue between shelter and openness. Solid, protective elements create intimacy, while expansive glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing the landscape to become an integral part of daily living. Rather than treating views as isolated moments, the project choreographs a continuous visual and spatial experience that evolves throughout the day.
本案意在表達建築的意義並不取決於尺度或繁複技巧，反而在於對環境脈絡的深入理解，並應審慎取得居住者需求與自然間的平衡；若以簡約為題，精準落實在量體上，仍能夠創造與周邊環境產生情感共鳴或深刻連結的作品。建築不只具有休憩功能，也是一道觀看的濾鏡，安靜地框取自然，讓景物被觀察、感受、欣賞，創造出恆久、平靜的沉思與體驗。
Material selection reinforces this philosophy. Honest, natural materials were chosen for their durability, authenticity, and ability to age gracefully within the environment. Their restrained palette allows the surrounding colors, textures, and changing atmosphere of Valle de Guadalupe to remain the true protagonists of the experience. The architecture avoids unnecessary ornamentation, relying instead on proportion, craftsmanship, and material expression to create a timeless identity. Beyond its physical form, Serenta Cabin represents a belief that meaningful architecture does not depend on scale or complexity. Instead, it emerges from a thoughtful understanding of context and a careful balance between human needs and the natural environment. The project demonstrates how simplicity, when pursued with intention and precision, can generate spaces that are emotionally resonant and deeply connected to their surroundings.
Ultimately, Serenta Cabin is more than a retreat; it is an architectural lens through which the landscape is observed, appreciated, and celebrated. By quietly framing nature rather than dominating it, the project aspires to create an experience of calm, reflection, and permanence that endures long after the visit has ended.
