In a serene American-style neighborhood, a family of three enjoys a spacious three-story home, where warmth and comfort naturally abound. The homeowner envisioned a space that balances Japanese minimalism with Scandinavian warmth — clean, gentle, and infused with natural textures. The design uses soft wood tones and off-white as the foundation, pairing simple materials — wood flooring, wood veneers, and specialty coatings—to create a bright, airy, and uncluttered environment. Extravagance and ornamentation are set aside in favor of comfort and a natural sense of calm. Large windows fill the home with light, filtering through louvers and sheer curtains to dance across plants, wood grains, and walls, layering a quiet, serene rhythm throughout the spaces.
玄關進門即被空間的溫柔元素迎接，面對客廳原有的梁柱，設計師沒有選擇順著梁線作界，而是略微往前拉厚，形成視覺完整的展示牆，上面擺放著屋主收藏、藝術品或孩子作品等，定調整體溫馨氛圍。重新編排後的餐廚區讓原本靠窗的水槽被移至中央，瓦斯爐與冰箱之間形成順暢的動線，廚具與餐區之間保持連貫。拾級而上，開闊而靜謐的私領域映入眼簾。主臥採半開放設計，進門處以梳妝台的延伸營造入門轉場，睡眠區則以推門與更衣室輕隔，開啟時維持視覺通透，閉合時營造簡潔視覺。私領域燈光僅以層板燈與壁燈照明，柔和而溫潤。
The foyer welcomes visitors with subtle warmth. Facing the original beams and columns of the living room, the designer extended them slightly forward, forming a visual display wall to showcase the homeowners collections, artwork, and children's creations, establishing a cozy atmosphere. In the reconfigured kitchen and dining area, the sink was moved to the center, creating a smooth flow between stove and refrigerator while maintaining continuity with the dining space. Upstairs, private areas feel open yet tranquil. The master bedroom is semi-open: a dressing table marks the entry, while sliding doors and a walk-in closet subtly separate the sleeping area, balancing visual openness with privacy. Soft, layered lighting from shelf and wall lamps creates a warm, inviting glow.
三樓是亦是本案的亮點，原本的兩間房間被打通，變成一個能同時容納親友的多功能休憩空間，更特地將原本狹小的天花梯口改為玻璃採光頂，使整層空間因自然光明亮而通透。屋主可在此宴客、聊天，甚至放映電影，夜晚亦能轉化為客臥室。
The third floor is the home's standout feature. Two original bedrooms were combined into a multifunctional space for family gatherings, entertaining, or movie nights. A glass skylight replaces the narrow stairwell ceiling, filling the floor with natural light.
延伸至戶外的木質平台，鋪上耐候材質的木地板，形成介於陽台與小庭園之間的開放區域。本案屋主從燈具到家具、擺飾品與植栽擺設，皆展示了對於「家」的想像，創境設計貼合屋主調性，從光線、材質、色彩，以匠心獨運的細節編排譜出美好日常旋律。
Extending outdoors, a wooden platform with weather-resistant flooring forms a transitional area between balcony and small garden. From lighting and furniture to textiles and greenery, every detail reflects the homeowners' vision of ''home.'' Through careful attention to light, material, and color, the designers orchestrate a daily rhythm that is both beautiful and intimately lived.
