Right Angle Studio

本案位於低層公寓林立的街區之中，基地原為二手屋，內部雜物多且格局零碎，動線十分不流暢。設計團隊為單人居住的業主重新定義格局，將基地的隔間之一拆除，創造連通的客餐廳空間，此手法不僅延伸空間的比例，更是考量獨居屋主對使用彈性與舒適的需求。擴大後的開放空間可以舉辦小型聚會，亦可依來賓人數與使用情境做靈活調整。整體機能配置簡約實用且極具彈性，彼此銜接的布局則呈現延展、通透的視覺效果。

This project is located in a neighborhood of low-rise apartment buildings. Originally a second-hand property with a cluttered, fragmented layout, it lacked efficient circulation. The design team redefined the spatial organization for a single occupant by removing one partition to create a connected living and dining area. This not only elongates the visual sense of space but also provides flexibility for small gatherings and different scenarios. The overall layout is minimalist, functional, and highly adaptable, while the open area enhances visual transparency and comfort.

整體設計語彙以橡木皮、米灰洞石等自然素材為基調。大門入口處，團隊為了消弭當地公寓「開門即面對廚房」的常見布局，特意於玄關處設置一道木質門廊，使門廊與天花的線條恰好形成垂直導角，引導居者與賓客在進門後，視線能自然地落在一道弧形櫃體與休憩椅上，感受柔和、放鬆的迎賓氛圍。

At the entrance, the team addressed the common issue in local apartments where the front door opens directly into the kitchen. A wooden entryway was added at the foyer, with its vertical lines aligning with the ceiling's design to guide the eye naturally toward a curved cabinet and a bench. This creates a soft and welcoming atmosphere for both residents and guests upon entering the home.

客廳作為最具視覺張力的空間，也同時是使用的核心，沙發朝向大面窗景和陽台擺設，屋主與客人得以隨時坐看戶外街區樣貌，感受自然光隨時間不斷變換；當陽光灑入室內，與木質、擺設家具相互映照，則瀰漫柔暖的溫馨氛圍。燈光配置以溫潤黃光作為基調，並以 Flos 壁燈作為點綴，提升細節品味與藝術感。廚房區則以石質地坪區分空間，並大量使用石材與木作為介面，整體線條俐落、方正，並於場域中央擺上一株室內植栽，增添一抹翠綠，同時成為視覺重心。

Natural materials set the tone for the overall design: oak veneer and beige-toned travertine stone. The living room, being the most visually impactful area, also serves as the heart of the home. The sofa is positioned to face the large windows and balcony, allowing the homeowner and visitors to enjoy the view of the street outside and the play of natural light throughout the day. As sunlight pours in, it reflects off the wooden textures and furniture, creating a harmonious interplay of elements. Warm yellow lighting forms the base of the lighting scheme, accented by Flos wall lamps to elevate the space with a refined and artistic touch. In the kitchen, the stone flooring defines the space, with stone and wood used extensively throughout. Clean, straight lines give it a crisp and organized look. A single indoor plant placed at the center of the kitchen adds a touch of vibrant green and becomes a visual focal point.

本案坐落於繁忙城市中，卻彷彿獨立於喧囂之外，重塑「套房式居所」印象。全屋不以奢華裝飾為貴，而是以減法思維釋放光線與空氣的流動，捨去多餘、回歸人之所需。設計師專注於構築貼合業主需求的生活場域，讓居住者能透過線條、弧度、材質、與光影，感受生活中的節奏與彈性。

Although situated in the heart of the city, the home feels like a retreat from the surrounding bustle. The design team presents a fresh interpretation of studio-style living. Eschewing ornate decoration in favor of a subtractive design philosophy, the space allows light and air to flow freely. By eliminating excess and returning to the essentials of human living, the design focuses on creating a lifestyle environment tailored to the homeowner.
