AMIRÁ is located on a hill overlooking the city of Querétaro, giving the building a privileged view of its surroundings. This visual connection played a crucial role in our design process, which aimed to create reciprocity between the architecture and the city. The strategic location takes into account its proximity to educational and health centers, hotels, horizontal and vertical residential complexes, as well as lands earmarked for future development with great potential for the area.

The project consists of 126 residential units organized in superimposed and offset blocks of regular geometry, ensuring that each unit receives natural lighting and ventilation. The arrangement and volume of the project allows each unit and most of the facilities to enjoy views of the city. Each unit type is designed with a strong connection to the outside through terraces and clear glass from side to side.

The regular geometry of the residential blocks is interrupted by bodies with a more angular, porous and permeable geometry that house the common areas. This design choice signifies the different uses and dynamics of the program. These common spaces extend into the void in a cantilevered, partially open manner, with the aim of providing users with quality spaces.

The rear façade serves primarily to resolve vertical and horizontal circulation, facing the entrance plaza, while the main façade has a transparency that looks out to the city, allowing residents to enjoy the view with extended terraces that provide shade and mitigate temperature gain due to its western orientation.
