此案坐落於林牧業並存的廣袤場域中，基地位於斜坡之上，飽覽森林與山谷景色。量體具有多元功能，不僅可作為員工以及訪客的居所；在非工作期間，亦可作為員工家屬休閒娛樂的空間。
The project consists of a productive dwelling located in a forestry and livestock field in the heart of Uruguay, set on a sloping site that opens up to an extensive landscape of forests and valleys. It was designed to have a flexible program, conceived as a space to accommodate people working on this land and visiting from other countries where the headquarters are located, while also serving as a recreational place for their families when not in use for work.
設計團隊以單一材質與清晰的結構邏輯，一體化結構與外牆飾面，並以此定義整體風格。量體由兩排梁柱構成，兩端以斜撐方式加固，如同棧架支撐起大面坡型屋頂。此設計既能有效抵禦當地夏季酷熱，又能充分應對冬季多雨的極端氣候挑戰。同時加強了自然通風需求，使建築朝四周完全敞開，將遼闊的戶外景致引入室內。
Conceptually, the project is designed to emphasize its structural system, which plays a central role and is expressed on the facades, serving both as support and finishing. This approach defines the architecture through its structural logic and mono-material condition of wood. The structure consists of two lines of columns and beams, reinforced at the ends with diagonals, like trestles supporting a large sloping roof that mediates with the climate, creating a buffer between the interior and the habitable perimeter against sun and rain — conditions defined by very hot summers and heavy rainfall in winter — while allowing cross ventilation and full openness along the edge to frame the views.
此外，基座透過在傾斜基地上的抬升設計，巧妙地區隔結構與地表之間的距離，形成堅實的承托基礎。團隊以機械加工的木構件建造柱、樑與支撐屋頂的斜向桁架，並進一步延伸挑高屋簷。簡單扼要的設計理念與施工邏輯貫徹全案，賦予精確而統一的建築語彙，最終以上方和側面的圍護面板包覆整體空間。
The design employs a modular sequence of mechanized wood, defined by a framework of thick columns and beams that form a deep overhang and create a rigid structural frame. This system is repeated along the entire length of the building. For construction, a solid plinth was first designed to rise from the sloping ground, separating the structure from the terrain and receiving the prefabricated system, which was then assembled in its complete framework of columns, beams, and sloping trusses for the roof, before adding the panels that enclose the upper sections and sides.
室內規劃將起居、餐飲與工作等公共區域置於中央，形成開闊明亮的核心空間，並設有環形走廊，延展內外空間的界線；露台與臥室分布兩端，始終向外開展，與周遭環境相互呼應。外側的寬大屋簷提供遮蔭之外，更是絕佳的聚會場域，成為建築與自然的過渡，使居所與鄉野環境融合。
The program includes collective spaces for living, dining, and work at the center as one large continuous, well-lit space, while terraces and bedrooms are arranged at each end, always open to the surroundings. A perimeter corridor runs along the entire length of the house, protected by large overhangs that act as extensions of the interior, providing shade and creating outdoor gathering spaces that connect to the rural landscape as a mediating element with nature.
