向度設計｜Degree Design

「無為」看似空無，卻在極簡之中蘊藏深意，於留白處拾得豐盈。這間以「無為」為名的宅邸，坐落於一座四十餘年的老屋中，面對樹景與河景，外有自然的靜謐，內藏生活的純粹。然而，這份清簡的美學背後，實際是對基地原況的深刻回應。不規則的平面、多處斜角歪斜、彎曲的隔間，以及天花板拆除後暴露的結構瑕疵，使翻修過程充滿挑戰。向度設計以「減法設計」為核心，去繁為簡，先是捨棄冗贅隔間，將窗外的自然美景引入室內，再取長補短，利用採光放大空間，並透過精妙手法修飾基地輪廓。

This project, named "Wuwei," means "emptiness" in Mandarin. Its simplicity contains richness in the spaces left blank. The house is located in a 40-year-old home, surrounded by tranquil views of trees and a river, creating a peaceful retreat from the busy urban environment. The existing irregular layout, skewed angles, curved partitions, and structural flaws exposed after removing the ceiling presented a unique renovation challenge. The design team simplified and refined the space by removing unnecessary partitions to draw the outdoor scenery inside. Clever techniques were used to enhance natural light, maximize functionality, and reshape the irregular contours of the home into a harmonious flow. These thoughtful interventions transformed a challenging space into a serene and inviting sanctuary.

玄關處，一道潔白牆面映入眼簾，暗門設計巧妙隱藏收納機能，維持畫面的純淨與簡潔，地板材質的轉換則暗示著由外到內的過渡。隨著垂直動線引領入內，隨即展開水平布局：左側為餐廳，右側為廚房，視覺上的對稱和呼應，創造平衡且工整之視感。餐廳與主臥相鄰，玻璃隔間不僅形成隱形軸線，輕盈又明快地劃分領域，亦使餐桌得以跨越空間界線，與位在臥室內的櫃體、床舖連成一線。步入沙發區，電視牆成為公私分界，兩者間的開口進一步串連客廳與臥室，構築開放而連續的生活場景。

At the entrance, a clean white wall greets visitors, with hidden storage cleverly concealed behind an invisible door to maintain a pure and simple aesthetic. A change in flooring material marks the transition from outdoors to indoors, subtly guiding the journey deeper into the home. Vertical movement leads to a horizontal layout: the dining area is on the left, and the kitchen is on the right. This symmetrical arrangement creates a sense of balance and order. Adjacent to the dining area, the master bedroom is separated by a glass partition that forms an invisible axis, lightly dividing the spaces while maintaining openness. The dining table extends beyond spatial boundaries, aligning with cabinets and the bed inside the bedroom. In the living area, the TV wall acts as a divider between public and private spaces, with an opening connecting the living room and bedroom to create an open, flowing layout.

歪斜柱體被精心包覆成方形，使其平行於衣櫃，達成視覺上的秩序感。整體動線由垂直與水平交織而成，巧妙消弭基地的不規則輪廓。天花和牆面統一採白色刷漆，輔以深色地板與沙發背牆的特殊漆料加強層次。大面積的留白不僅放大了光線的渲染力，更彰顯通透與遼闊感。

Skewed columns have been carefully encased into square shapes, aligning with the wardrobe to establish visual order. The overall circulation weaves vertical and horizontal lines, smoothing out the irregular contours of the original structure. White paint on the walls and ceiling unifies the space, while dark flooring and textured paint on the sofa's back wall add depth. The expansive use of white enhances light diffusion, creating a sense of openness and clarity, making the home feel larger and more cohesive.

床鋪兩側以玻璃巧妙開窗，兼具隱私與通透，床尾處的大片窗戶引入充足採光，當黑色半透光捲簾緩緩落下，窗外樹影與柔光依舊輕輕滲透，彷彿自然的畫筆在空間中輕描淡寫。不銹鋼家具以冷冽質感形塑鮮明的居家性格，與主臥的開放吊架彼此呼應，展現材質之間細膩的對話。

Glass openings on either side of the bed balance privacy and transparency, while a large window at the foot of the bed brings in ample natural light. Black semi-sheer blinds softly filter the light, blending shadows and textures to create a tranquil ambiance. Stainless steel furniture adds a crisp, modern character, echoing the open hanging racks in the master bedroom and showcasing a dialogue between contrasting materials that enriches the space's narrative.

此屋透過精準的視線引導，重新定義畫面平衡，藉動線與材質的精心搭配，化解老屋的種種侷限，更造就一股自由且從容的氣度，一如其名，乍看無為，實則精雕細琢、充滿細節。

This residence exudes a sense of freedom and ease, true to its name. At first glance, it may appear effortless, but it is in fact a carefully crafted space, rich in thoughtful detail and infused with a timeless elegance that harmonizes with its natural surroundings.
