毛森江建築工作室｜Mao Shen-Chinage Architecture Studio

家，是每一個人的安身立命之所，不論是上班亦或外出遊玩，下了班、遊玩結束後身心疲憊之餘，最終的歸處就是那溫馨的「家」。它，是一個可以放鬆自我、使人安心之地，更是一個避風港。而家人，更承載著血緣的關係，有著密不可分的親情，是不可或缺的扶持力量。

After a long day at work or a trip away, no matter how tired you are, you always return to the warmth of home. Home is also where family bonds thrive, a source of unwavering support and connection.

此案坐落於台南市都會區，在建築基地上一連三棟建築，從挖地基到建築完成花了四到五年的時光。白色建築及灰色建築比鄰而居，父母帶著孫子在過道散步享受天倫之樂，便可由白色建築走到灰色建築，而由清水模構成的灰色建築是設計師一貫的設計手法，二個大小不同的方形量體藉由樓梯串連，形成一道入口，將動線作分流之外，也不互相打擾，而另二個入口分別是在客廳及車庫。

This project is located in the urban area of Tainan City and comprises three connected buildings on the site. From laying the foundation to the final construction, the process took four to five years. The white and gray buildings stand side by side. Families can enjoy strolls together, moving seamlessly from the white building to the gray one. The gray building, constructed with exposed concrete, reflects the designer's signature style. Two differently sized rectangular volumes are linked by a staircase, creating an entrance that separates and organizes the flow of movement without disrupting privacy. Additional entrances are located in the living room and garage.

走入客廳，清水模的工藝由外延伸入內，搭配上原木的家具及隔柵，使空間呈現出質樸而靜謐的氛圍。區域的分別就藉由盒中盒的概念劃分空間，就像大空間內的小空間一樣，客廳、餐廳、廚房分別而立卻又互相串接，二樓則是書房及臥室，偌大的開放式書房猶如圖書館意境，視線極佳之外也可以俯瞰樓下。看向窗外不難發現建築外圍有道圍牆，九米高的圍牆由高而低形成一座梯形，梯形內側的空間擺放綠植栽，不論你走在空間的哪一處，都可以看到綠意盎然的景致。

Entering the living room, the exposed concrete extends from the exterior to the interior, complemented by wooden furniture and slatted dividers. This combination creates a rustic and serene atmosphere. Spaces are divided using a "box within a box" concept, where smaller areas exist within the larger structure. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are distinct yet connected. On the second floor, a large open study feels like a library, offering excellent views and allowing you to look down into the living space below. Outside, a nine-meter-high trapezoidal wall surrounds the building, its inner slope filled with greenery. From anywhere in the home, you can enjoy lush, vibrant views.

就如同設計師所言，他是在設計空地而不是建築量體、設計生活而非空間。極富令人省思的一段話，就如同自然一樣，既然都會區鮮少有樹木，那就創造自己的綠景，二樓、三樓、四樓亦是如此，就連沿著樓梯下樓，往下看便能看到一棵綠樹佇立在樓梯旁，隨著腳步移動綠意也隨之而行。傍晚時分，夜晚為燈光拉開了序幕，透過簡練的幾何開窗，露出微黃的光線，一家人的歡樂笑聲就在這生活中產生。

As the designer explained, this project is about designing the void rather than the structure—creating a way of life rather than merely a space. This thoughtful approach brings nature into the heart of the urban environment. Where trees are rare in the city, the home provides its green scenery. Descending the stairs, you can spot a tree standing beside the staircase, its presence following you with every step. In the evening, soft yellow light streams through minimalist geometric windows, setting the mood for the night. Against this glowing backdrop, laughter and joy fill the home, creating lasting memories in this thoughtfully designed haven.
