坐落於一片開闊的平地，這座建築被濃密的樹林環繞，漫步其中，各個視角都能將自然景觀盡收眼底，譬如西北方的瀨戶內海日落，又如東南方蜿蜒起伏的山脈，令人嘆為觀止。本案旨在利用開闊的土地和壯麗景色，創造一座能與自然深度融合，並能多方向連結的建築。

The site is a vast, open space, surrounded by a dense grove of trees. As one walks through the area, every turn presents a new perspective, each expressing the richness and depth of the natural surroundings. Two views, in particular, stand out: the sunset over the Seto Inland Sea to the northwest and the sweeping mountain range to the southeast. Rather than simply accepting the expansive land and striking scenery as they are, the design team sought to create an architecture that establishes a deep connection with its environment from multiple directions.

基地位處坡地之上，層疊的懸崖和某些缺乏護坡牆的區域使土地不甚穩固。然而，看似不理想的地形特徵，尤其是懸崖的自然傾斜角度，反而成為全案的靈感啟發。設計師將主空間置於中央，並以樹木的形態為靈感，設計出放射狀的走道，猶如枝條，將私密空間與主體空間連結，同時透過拓寬走道，創造半公共的休息區，巧妙地在主空間與私密空間之間創造流暢過渡。

The terrain of the site includes varying cliff heights, with some areas lacking retaining walls, resulting in unstable land. This natural topography, especially the angle of the cliffs, guided the decision to place the building's main volume at the center of the site. Simply positioning the main room in the center, facing the two spectacular views, and surrounding it with private rooms would only create a relationship between the building and the surrounding empty space. Instead, the design envisions a more organic form, where the central main room is complemented by corridors radiating outward like tree branches, connecting the private rooms. These branch-like corridors are widened to serve as lounges, creating semi-public spaces between the main room and the private areas.

隨著步伐從公領域移動至私領域，天花逐漸降低，暗示著私人空間的隱蔽性，公共區域則透過較高的天花設計，營造寬闊舒心的感受。從休息區延伸出來的私密房間，引導視線往不同方向延展，一方面呈現多樣景觀，另一面則是為了增加空間層次和深度。此外，極具巧思的「分枝」設計，巧妙將戶外場域分割為一座層次分明的花園，巧妙捕捉遼闊地景的各樣角度：有的框住落日美景，有的面向大海，或者迎向晨曦，抑或朝向山脈；更甚者，成為孩童的遊戲樂園。

This architectural approach creates a gradual transition from public to private space. As one moves from the main room through the lounges to the private quarters, ceilings lower, signifying increasing privacy, while public areas maintain a higher ceiling. The private rooms extending from the lounges offer diverse sightlines, presenting a variety of views and adding spatial continuity and depth. This branching configuration also subtly divides the outdoor areas, creating a series of layered gardens that capture the site’s various views: one frames the setting sun, another opens to the sea, while others welcome the morning light, face the mountain range, or provide playful refuges for children. Some spaces even borrow views from the surrounding woodland.

整體設計如同從中央生長出來的樹幹，延伸出枝條，將空間層層分割，並向外延伸。這些花園與自然景觀相融合，創造了一個隨著季節、時光變化而自然而然流動的家。無論是隨著季節變換，還是面對日常生活中的需求，居者都能在這片土地上找到最合適的場所，感受家的溫暖與自在。

The design grows from a central trunk, extending branches outward to divide the space into distinct zones. These gardens work harmoniously with the site's natural features, creating a home where life flows organically with the land. This architecture invites residents to discover spaces that are perfectly suited for every season, every time of day, and for every purpose that arises.
